This page sets out how Payout Press produces what it publishes. The rules are short on purpose: readers should be able to hold us to them.
How we review
We review payout paths and operators in steps and hours. That means counting the steps a deposit or withdrawal actually takes, quoting an operator’s published timing language as a claim rather than repeating it as fact, and separating the clocks a payout runs through — verification, the operator’s processing queue, and the payment rail itself — because “instant” almost always describes only the last one. Reviews are built on documented sources and, where possible, our own runs; figures are attributed to where they came from (“the operator says”, “per the regulator”, “as of this writing”). We do not invent test results, statistics, or quotes, and we do not present a payment firm’s marketing as our own measurement. We cover UKGC-licensed operators and UK-authorised payment providers only.
What scores mean
Where a review carries a score, the score is an editorial judgment of the payout path or product as a whole, out of 10. It weighs speed when everything behaves against what happens when it doesn’t — failure modes, support blind spots, small print. A high score is praise, not a promise: no score is a prediction of how fast your withdrawal will arrive, and no score is for sale. Even the paths we rate highest have their drawbacks listed, because every payout path has them.
